The time has come, my little friends, to talk of other things: of shoes, and ships, and sealing wax, and… *ahem* Sorry. *g*

Yes, it's finally here. The day you've been waiting for. Posting day has finally arrived at thelittlebang.

As soon as you see this post in your flist/circle, you are free to start posting your projects to AO3.

Note: Everyone will have until 2359 EST on Monday, 31 October 2011 to post their projects, fiction and art/video alike. We're not expecting anyone to have an issue with this, as that means you've all had an additional 2 weeks to complete and post your projects. If, for some reason, you cannot post by this time, you will need to leave a comment here as to why you're unable to comply with this extended timeframe.

Master List
Once everyone's stories and art are posted, we will go through and create a master post and link everything together. Until that time, we will keep an in-progress masterlist on the comm profile.

Posting
All stories will be posted on AO3, all videos and/or artwork will be posted as suggested below. Once you have posted to the appropriate location, you will come back here to post an announcement. More on that a little later in this post.

Our parent collection on the AO3 is The Little Bang. We have separate subcollections for round one, which is open for anyone who wrote for round one, and a challenge for round two, which is now open.

Your fanwork should not be posted publicly on the internet until it has been live with TLB for at least one month.

Summary: While in rehab, Jinny finally acknowledges feelings she's been trying to ignore for many years.

Author's Notes: I originally started this story back in 2002, after I'd started watching The Division during its second season. I immediately fell in love with the chemistry between CD and Jinny, and wanted to explore a relationship with them. Around the same time, I'd gotten seriously addicted to the Ghost Stories album by Amanda Ghost. Somewhere along the line, I got the idea to do a CD challenge with that album and this couple. I'd started this story and got about 10k words into it before the thing just petered out, mainly because of what Lifetime ended up doing to the characters. This story's been sitting on my hard drive for nearly 10 years now, waiting to be completed, and now it finally has been. I can't be more thrilled to finally have this damned thing off my WiP list. LOL!

Author's Notes II: I based the rehab facility in this story on Camp Recovery, but I made some changes to suit my story. I fully and freely admit that I played fast and loose with the research I did into rehab for Jinny. There are a lot of things happening in this story that just wouldn't happen in an actual rehab situation. I know that, I acknowledge that, and I still chose to take artistic license in how I worked out this story. If that bothers you, I do apologize. I felt that the love story was far more important to tell, and the rehab was primarily a means to an end for Jinny to explore her feelings for CD, and how they relate to her alcoholism.
