ADMIN :: Rough Draft Update

First off, let me just thank each and every one of you that is hanging in with us for this round of thelittlebang. To say that RL and/or Murphy's Law has had the mods firmly in their cross-hairs is an understatement.

But more importantly, this is a quick note to say that more detailed information will be posted to the comm tomorrow [Monday, 12 September 2011], and that the deadline for rough drafts being turned in is being extended. Full details WILL appear tomorrow, as will sign-ups for complementers. We just need to iron out a couple of last minute details before that can be done.

Once again, thank you for your patience, and I hope you're all doing well.

It's entirely possible. I'd initially signed up with a Private Practice project that ended up DEAD in the water before I really got started. So I switched to a project for Jinny/CD from The Division that I'd originally started almost 10 years ago. I've basically scrapped the whole thing and started over. Managed to get like 14-15k written in a relatively short period, but am losing a little bit of steam currently.

I've never heard of the Division, but wikipedia sounds interesting! You can do it! just shovel on more environmentally-friendly coal!

The show was great for the first 2 1/2 seasons, then it started going ridiculous [and where I got the term "to Lifetime someone" from] from mid-3rd season on. I only caught the first ep of S4 to find out what happened to CD, then stopped watching the show completely and never looked back.

My story takes place between the end of S1 and the start of S2.

*nods* Well, setting it where I did makes sense, as it deals with Jinny's time in rehab, so I didn't have a lot of leeway for where to set it. LOL!
